Paper or Muslin for home studio background?
I'm setting up a home studio and quite anguished over paper roles on cross bar with two stands.....or the "Muslin mover" from Delta that installs in ceiling. I like the paper for full body shots due to nice floor wall transition....but the permanence and texture of muslin is also appealing.
Maybe it's both?
Thoughts?

I can't say because I've only used paper. However, have you considered green screen? It takes a lot more time invested up front, but after you have the software situation taken care of, the backgrounds become limitless.

What's your floor? I have carpet, so muslin was a must-have (paper would just punch through). Mine was cheap ($220 for a stand and a 10x24 background), so if I change I haven't wasted much.

I'll have hardwood floors in the home studio....
