Anyone Here Have a Webpage or Flickr Account?
Good Morning Everyone!!
Here and there in various threads many of you have posted links of your newly setup webpage or to your photos on flickr. I personally love looking at these webpages andthought it would be nice to have the links all in one spot, so anyone that would like for others to check out their site, feel free to post your link below!
Also, any discussions you'd like to start regarding design or the pros/cons of using one service over another for your webpage wouldhelp others that may beconsidering setting one up in the future.
Thanks,
Denise

Good idea Denise....
Here's my flickr link; http://www.flickr.com/photos/29409592@N03/
And I havea question; how do you transfer your pix from flickr to this site? I use photobucket now, but I've noticed there is a bit of IQ drop on transfer.
I'm in the process of building my website and will upload the link when I've finished tweaking the setup.
Regards
Bill

It's easy. First, in your flickr account, click on the "ALL SIZES" button above an image you're looking at. You'll most likely want to choose the "Medium" picture link on the next page. Below the picture there will be a box with the caption, "Copy and paste this HTML into your webpage:" Copy that info.
Now start a new post here at TDP forums. When you're ready to place the image in your post, click on the "HTML" button above the text input window. An html editor will pop up. Paste the copied text into the HTML pop-up and click "Update." The image should show up in your post.

I have a couple, however they mostly get used as dump sites for transfering files to other people:

nothing too exciting!

You can post a link directly to the image on flickr, if you're willing to venture into html. First, get the url of the actual flickr image - url will end in .jpg (you may have to open it in a new window for that, but for your own flickr page you can use the Grab the Photo's URL below the image). Note that this will work for any image, hosted anywhere, as long as you have the url to it.
You can insert a scaled down version of the pic by clicking HTML in the toolbar and inserting it with an image tag. For the HTML editing, leave a blank return in your post where you want the pic to end up, then replace the&nbsp;in the line <p>&nbsp;</p>.
I picked 100 pixels wide, must be no wider than 800 pixels for TDP forums. This means you don't have to resize your original images - everyone's browser will do it for you. The image URL goes between the quotes in src="".
<img width="100" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2799/4475751367_51158149f0_b.jpg">.

You can get a little fancier with html by using the img tag embedded in an open in new window link tag, so clicking on the image opens the full size version in a new window.
The image URL goes between the quotes in href="" and in src="" (same link in both places).
<atarget="_blank"href="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2799/4475751367_51158149f0_b.jpg"><img width="100" src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2799/4475751367_51158149f0_b.jpg"></a>

Note that the links don't work when composing the post, but they do work if you click the Preview tab, and they work in the post.
This is what's been working for me - but if there's an easier way to accomplish this, please share!

Mine is http://rwilliamsimaging.com/
I looked at several hosting services and found zenfolio to be reasonably priced and extremely easy to use and set up for photography display and sales. They also offer a 15 day trial. I have been able to easily apply almost all of the suggestions offered by other members and a few personal preferences of my own.
