Re: Softlighter II / 430EX & ST-E2 compatibly
I use my Softlighters with ST-E2. Sometimes in big rooms I will twist the head around so the IR receiver is facing out. Most of the time I use one 580EXII with my 60", but occasionally I will put 2 in it to throw some more light or if I want to shoot fast I'll use 2 and power them down so I get faster recycle times.
I think a 430 will power the 36" and 46" pretty well and the 60" for some applications.

Cool, I'm reading <span id="btAsinTitle"]Light: Science and Magic: An Introduction to Photographic Lighting on my iPod Touch and I'm starting to get excited about lighting again.
