In truth, you only need 2 things in life: WD40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD40. If it does move and shouldn't, use duct tape. [;)]

Use some Gaffer Cloth Tape . It won't leave residue on your lens the way duct or other tapes will.

Let's see.....almost $1700 for the 24 mm prime, or about 5 bucks for the gaffer tape.
