Forum software does not like Safari
Hi all -
I've just come to the conclusion that this forum software does not work well in Safari (Apple). Does anyone else have troubles using Safari on a Mac here? Is anyone using Safari for Windows?
BTW - testing in Firefox (for Mac) currently and it seems to work fine.
Regards,
Paul

Hi Paul,
What problems are you having? Safari was misbehaving for me at first, but seems to be doing mostly fine now. Initially, I was getting logged off frequently (in the middle of posting, several times), but that seems to have stopped. The only remaining issue that I see occasionally is when replying to some posts using the rich entry tool, there's some bad html code down below in the tags area that results in a very wide frame (horizontal scroll bar). It's only some posts, and I can live with it.
FWIW, I'm using the latest Safari (v5.0.2).

Same version here. It seems to be working fine now, but this morning the reply buttons would disappear when clicked. Also I had to log back in several times. All seems fine now, I have deduced my problems may have been my internet connection. It was very spotty this AM - but fine now.
Thanks for the prompt response,
Paul

Also just go thrown off when I viewed my profile and then clicked Community Home.
Re: Forum software does not like Safari
I have Safari v5.0.1 and it's not fully supported (copy and paste doesn't work in Safari either), as I'm getting thrown off frequently and losing posts too. I figured out though if you save the post first then you don't loose it, however if you get lulled into a sense of complacency and don't save it first, then you lose it. Like Santa Claus, it seems to know if you've been good or bad!

Seems to work fine for me on Safari 5.0.
