		My best of 2008

I just started shooting with a DSLR at the start of this year, so I took a look through what I've taken during the past year. Here are some of the ones that made the cut out of the 10,000 shots I've burnt through (I'm trying to reduce that ratio a bit).

 Canon 40D, MP-E 65mm, MT-24EX, 1/250, f/16, ISO1600 (accident)

And one non-Macro to mix things up a bit:

Welcome pal. Great photos, the MP-E 65mm is sweet!

Thanks, I think that was my best of the year. I was tracking her on a leaf, and she jumped over grabbed the leafhopper, then faced me for a split second before jumping away. I somehow managed to get two shots, one of the jumper in focus and another of the hopper. Then focus stacked and spend a few hours trying to clean up the ISO noise since I didn't have time to move it down from 1600.
