I have a new favorite lens and I'm lovin' it!!!
I just bought a used lens from the FM site (first time purchasing anything from there) and it is awesome! It was such a fantastic low price that I was so nervous on what condition it was really going to be in when I got it but it is in A+1 absolutely brand new condition!!!
My new "used" TS-E 90mm is AWESOME!!!! I am having so much fun trying out the different settings and learning (lots of learning) but it is FUN, FUN, FUN!!! It is slightly longer than what would work best for me on a crop body but this lens is so awesome that I will live with it until I can afford a FF or 1.3 crop!
I know I

I guess that means Frustration is officially over. Congrats on the new glass, and on the new-found happiness.

New toys are nearly always the catalyst for a new self-portrait... ;-)

Grid for my Paul C. Buff Large Foldable Octabox. I had purchased an ebay octa months ago, but it was a pain to set up and I only used it once or twice. I took the grid from the ebay octa and put it on the PCB one, and it fit perfectly. So, at least I'll get some use out of the ebay octa...

Ummm...you bought the 90, right? You do realize that there's a 45mm, a 24mm, and a 17mm, right? Each of those lenses will cost less than a new camera.

Yep, and after much research and w/ the $ available at the moment, the 90mm was the best choice for me. First off, I wanted one w/ f/2.8 and according to many reviews, the 90mmis the sharpest of the bunch and would be best for what I'm hoping to use it for. With just learning and experimenting with TS, I preferred to spend around $800 instead of $2,000. When I do get another camera ...more than likely it will be purchased used alsoand will either be a 1d mk III, 1d mk IV or 5d II ...all depends how long I want to wait for one.
