At the threshold--Need Help

So my account is at the memory threshold and I amdeleting old pictures in order to add newpictures. I thought thatphotos deleted from my account would also be deleted from the threads where they were posted.ButI've gone back to a couple ofthe threads and thatthe photos are still there. I know that Bryan switched providers about last September, doesthe new site provider allow a photo to stay ina thread no matter what you doin your account? If it does, my problem is simple, I can delete all the photos in my account and continue to upload here to post photos in threads. If not, does anyone have recommendations for other websites to store photos? I know about flickr, are there any others?

Brant, I sometimes use this website, it's been pretty good so far.

Picasa and Photobucket both immediately pop to mind.

I like to use flickr. It easy to grab the BBC code and share images on various websites.
