Best file sharing/presentation site

I'm a amateur photographer looking to sell my photographs to mostly local friends, friends in the region. I'm looking at 2 major areas to sell my photographs:beach volleyball players I take photographs of at all the tournaments, they pretty much just want digital files..charge each player per match or team per match. The other area is my nature photographs, sell the digital file or prints. I know of the site Smugmug, I know a few people who use it and love it. I also have a friend who designs websites, sets them up..this might be a option as well. I'm looking at cost, a way to exchnage money online securely like Paypal and have some storage space on my site. I would appreciate any input, advice.
