The chances of a actual Reuters photographer trying to fake an image is pretty much nil. That's a career ending move for sure and every photojournalist knows that to well.
From what I can tell looking at this low rez image it looks real. Rueter

A quick look down the comments shows a link to a decidedly faked photo, it looks very different under analysis.
