1dx, D4 vs. Drone 1.8 Billion Pixel Camera

Something like 42,000 x 42,000. Or at 300 dpi 141x141 inch 1:1 print effectively 12' x 12'

Now I will agree this is a bit much for us civilians, but I have to admit I am disappointed at the resolution of the 1Dx and D4 sensor.

What is the incremental cost for the incremental picture?

How about a decent - no - a good EVF, no need focal plane shutter or mirror, fast & accurate "live view" AF,

Have we really maxed out the resolution of glass?
