How to determine the proper NR ratios in DPP

Hi,


I would like to know your tips for using the Noise Reduction feature in DPP. How do you evaluate if there is more Chrominance than Luminance noise, for instance ?


I shoot with a freshly repaired Rebel XTi and I do a lot of indoor shots. Even if I have fast lenses (like the 85mm f/1.8 USM), I shoot often in the ISO 800-1600 range to preserve an acceptable shutter speed.
