I know gps info is stored in your file, but does (or is it possible through update) the readings for the level to transfer too? The reason why I ask is for lens correction. When I use a tripod, I tend to level everything so the lens correction tool works great for distortion. If I were to tilt the camera down, couldn't the software use the angle of tilt and properly correct for distortion?
