Newbie and Lightroom
Hi there
New to the forum and my first post
I got a 550d about a year ago and added a few lenses since then. I am struggling however with lightroom 3 where is the best place to learn the basics and any presets I should download etc? I have a couple of pics I took at 1600 ISO which is a bit fuzzy I believe I can clean that up. Any tips appreciated.

Adobe has a pretty good learning channel on their Site for Lightroom. Lightroomkillertips is another website with good advice and free presets to get you going in the right direction. There are some good videos on YouTube, but wading through the junk to find it.. gotta put a price on your sanity:) Hopefully someone else can give you exact channels to watch. It's been awhile since I peeked around.

Thanks I will take a look at those my approach has been to take the picture correct to start with but I know some small tweaks can make a couple of my shots better

Hi, online sources are great, but in my opinion they can't beat a good book. For LR4 I think Scott Kelby's book is quite good (The Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 Book For Digital Photographers), but I'm sure there are more good options.
Edit: I saw you were talking about LR3, and similar books are available for version 3 (probably at a lower price).
