Slow server response

Is anyone else experiencing slow server response on the forums?

Please keep me posted on this issue. We addressed some problems with response times early in testing.

Seems to be working fine for me.

I haven't had any problems either. When I have issues with internet speed, sometimes I just check my download/upload speed athttp://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/. I wouldn't be suprised to see it get a lot busier on here in the next month, so we will see if the hosting holds up.

So now that I have been using this site for awhile let me be more specific. While reading a post and eventually getting around to either replying or using the back arrow to go back to the forum page is where I experience long waits. The message in the lower left corner says "waiting for community.the -digital-picture.com" and the green bar in the lower right gets to the half way point and stops. Usually things resume after 1 or 2 clicks on the refresh arrow.

Hmm, I've never experienced that. Is this the only site you're having the problem with? The-Digital-Picture.com (includingthe community site) has always been very snappy for me.

Still having slowness issues with this website. If I sit idle and read a long post then try to reply or read another I have to sit and wait for 30-60 seconds. By that time I lose patience and either refresh the screen or get out totally and come back in.


Just tried to post this after typing and again slow response. Task manager says site is running.

Tom - The site is responding fine for me right now. Is there aspecific time of the day that you run into problems - or all of the time?
