Slide scanning
Like many others I have a billion (or there about) slides and an other billion negatives, from decades of shooting with film. I have postponed doing anything with them all these years, so they are safely stored in boxes here and there and mostly forgotten. But now the time has come to do something about it and I have decided to get a high quality scanner. The question is which one. So far the "experts" recommended Epson 750 Pro, but I thought it might be a good idea to throw the question at the comptent members of this forum.
Any thoughts, experiences or advice would be most appreciated.

Re: Slide scanning
Leo Laporte often talks about scanning of negatives on his talk show. I believe his new updated site allows you to type in what you're looking for, and it will scan the logs for your answer, giving you both a text and audio (video too if available) solution. I remember him also talking about the time needed for such endeavors, and recommending a professional company to do it instead. A billion slides/negatives times ten seconds a shot equals a lot of time;)
