i would like to thank everyone that has answered my newbie questions that i have been asking since i first registered on this forum. this is an awesome place to get straight answers and suggestions. i recently was asking about lenses in the 400mm range and got some great responses even with a few sample pics from the lens in question on a body very similar to mine. i was able to find a used 100-400 locally and picked it up today. i got it for 950$ .i saved enough that i also picked up a used tamron 17-50 f2.8 and a brand new 430exII flash. now i cant wait for the sun to come up tomorrow so i can go out and try them lol. thanks again guys.
