Is it normal for the OC-E3 to rattle?

Hello all--


I've had my Canon Off-Camera Shoe Cord OC-E3 for 5 months. I just noticed today that the off-camera shoe part of it rattles--is that ordinary? Thanks!

not sure entirely what you mean, however it is firm on the camera but makes no noise.... if it works it works.... (not to be rude) its just a cable..

Apparently yes, I just shook mine and produced a rattling sound.

Thanks for the responses! I've examined it, and the rattle doesn't seem to be an issue, as the flash works fine.
