Is anyone else having issues with Flickr over sharpening you images when you import them? I used to be that I could simply add an image to Flickr and it looked similar to my screen. But for about the last month, it seems Flickr is adjusting the image upon import. Most common, the images in Flickr seem to have much more clarity/sharpening compared to the jpg I view on my home computer.
Just wondering....

I just downloaded my last upload from Flickr and compared it to the original - I can't see any difference. I flipped between them about a dozen times looking at various parts of the image, but they seem to be exactly identical (down to the pixel level noise pattern).
Maybe a browser update is the issue?

As far as I know Flickr only sharpens the down-sized images, not the original size. The sharpening used seems to vary by camera body. Images from my 7D looked fine with their sharpening, while images from my 1Ds2 tended to look over-sharpened. If you switched cameras recently, then that could be the culprit.

Thanks guys. Same camera (5DIII). And I do not know if it is effecting the actual file. What I am seeing is more of how it is displayed on Flickr.
See below:
Screen shot of jpg of the original file:
Attachment 2402
Screen shot of how it was displayed on Flickr. Please note, this is not the version of the image currently up on my account. I disliked the sharpening, so I re-edited the image currently posted in their "aviary" system.
Attachment 2403
Both images are screen shots which I then saved in LR5 to less than 192 KB so I could directly upload.
I'll look through my settings.
