Yeah, I live in Burnaby, and man, it's gotten real cold and I couldn't even find many birds around when I was shooting a couple days ago. And the coldness is helping me build up the laziness to stay warm at home :(

Really nice pictures of the Geese, I rarely see them sleeping in a huge group like that!

I saw something I had never seen before today. I saw a gull playing catch with itself. It was repeatedly dropping a stick and then diving to catch it. I managed to get a few shots, not the worlds best shot but still felt it was worth sharing.

Great shots Nick, really like the B&W and the gull.
This is on the footpath outside my home. Unfortunately it is not resting. Reduced speed limits at night are a help to protect our wildlife, but it doesn't always work.
We do have wallabies and koalas roaming the streets where I live in Brisbane. Not all make it to morning.
Slow down.
