This is what I like about photography... you can take something that you look at every day, stop the action, blow it up to see the fine detail, and it ends up revealing the hidden beauty that you never new was there. The cool forms that come out in a water drop, a close up of an ugly Coot (bird) and you find out it has these really neat red eyes and the way water beads up on it, the intricacies of the feathers on a bird, bugs and flowers up close are amazing, eyes (people and animals) just draw you in, you see sunrises and sunsets with a lot more appreciation, you start to notice the way light effects the way you see things, etc., etc., etc....
