But since I really need this lens for my work, i think i'll just pick up a Canon 50/1.4 regardless, then replace it in the future with whatever comes better in Canon's lineup. Unlike a L lens, the 50/1.4 is affordable at least. =)

I'm with you here. Except I don't want to pay over 5K for a camera. I just want 1) full frame 2) not super expensive, and 3) high end autofocus.


Guess it's tough to please everyone.
