Wow, foxes that close are fairly rare (although here in Aus, if you see a fox you grab the rifle first, camera second). And Denise, what is that second picture?
Meanwhile, I had in mind the perfect shot for this, but the trouble was narrowing it down. We had a family of ducks move in to our street last year, one parent (I think the father), and about 6 babies, they hung around until they were almost fully grown, sitting on each neighbours' lawn to get free food.
So what else could I do?
Grab the lensbaby, gorillapod, cable release, and start throwing bread. From the few hundred shots I got, I liked this one the best (the one closest is the parent):
<edit, oh yeah, forgot to say the first is my entry>

And a few others to share, seems that everywhere I went in Europe I managed to get chased by various animals up close:

My cousin's baby kitten took a liking (and licking) to my camera-strap:

My Auntie's dog (65kg of St Bernard) with a "Why did you put me in the boot" stare:

And this one is my Aunty, her dog, her 6-month-old (or so) granddaughter, getting very 'Up Close & Personal":

(I wish this one were better quality, but it was only on my p&s 8mp olympus thingy, or it could have been entry-worthy)

That is one happy car.
Here are two from a wedding I shot for a friend. 7D and Sigma 30 f/1.4. The first is my entry.

When I saw this done by another photag, I had to try it myself. With that said, I'm not sure if this quite fits the subject, but didn't involve a macro lens.
