Hi Everyone.....this is just a reminder than the entry period of Assignment #55 closes this Sunday. So, just a couple more days to submit your entry....
This is going to be my entry.
We finally received some accumulated snowfall today. Here is a 13 shot stack of a snowflake. I need to do a little cleanup from the glove's fibers, but think it turned out pretty well.

Thanks everyone. Some great submissions. Jan and I will wait for Johns selections for the finalists and will be posting the poll shortly.
Congratulations to the finalists!
Thanks to Sean, the poll is now open!
yeah, so I wont bother participating in this nonsense anymore...
farewell silent forum, continue with thine silence and lack of content
Nonsense because your image wasn't selected? Your entry was an HDR panorama of Tokyo Bay - it was a very well executed shot, but the stated intent of the assignment was 'altered reality' and frankly, I didn't see it in your image. How was the image different from what one would see if standing at that vantage point and looking around? Perhaps there is a difference, but it's not evident from the photograph.

The norm for these polls seems to be 5 finalists, (and I'll apologize in advance to Jayson for this), I had a hard time choosing between your image and Jayson's of the six, for which one to exlude. But Jayson's snowflake shot was something that one does not see in everyday life…unless one walks around wearing high mag loupe eyeglasses:

Nevertheless, I'm sorry you feel so slighted, and looking at your post history, apparently not for the first time. Farewell.
Thanks. That's an old pic taken with my Panasonic FZ-18, but I've worked it into several different versions. Photoshop is a wonderful thing.
I thought we'd see one of Denise's excellent flower-in-water images for this. I'm sure that would have been a top choice.
So where do we go from here?
