Wow some great shots in this week's collection --- especially the landscapes! I'll throw in a portrait shot, taken yesterday at a mountain bike race I was in. This is one of my teammates flying through his lap. 1/125 second shutter speed.

Judging this week contest wasn't easy, especially in the landscape category. I went back and forth between many of your submissions, and had a great time looking at them and trying to come out with a decision. So here it is...
For the landscape category, I'll go with nvitalephotography's "Blue Cypress Lake sunrise". I like pretty much everything on this picture, from the subtle colors to the nice composition and the great setting. The only criticism I could come up with is that mountains are clearly lacking :) . I'm just kidding of course.
For the portrait category, I do really like Jayson's "The Flash". The face is in focus while everything else is moving, and the fact that the boy is on the right part of the picture makes me think he was so fast the camera couldn't catch up with him.
As I said, there were a lot of great entries this week, so congrats to the winners and to all of you who submitted something.
Thanks Pierre! Congratulations Nick! Looking at all of the landscapes this week, what a challenge that would have been choosing. Definitely a whole bunch of wall art this week. Great work everyone!
Pierre - You made good choices in a tough week to have to judge.
Congratulations to the Nick and Jayson... well done.
