I almost walked right into this little guy and 2 other youngsters on a recent visit to a local marsh. I got down on 1 knee and they actually came closer. This shot is 400mm uncropped. I love seeing critters up close in the wild.

I noticed some movement at the side of a path at Snettisham nature reserve in Norfolk a few weeks ago. This wood mouse was busy foraging and didn't seem bothered by my presence.

Was packing up the tent after a night of camping and the kids spotted a rabbit in the woods. They quickly pointed it out and insisted I get the camera and take a picture. Of course I obliged. Seems they are starting to get used to having a camera-toting father since whenever they see something interesting they always say "Dad, quick take a picture!"
