Great colors Larry
Going through some photos from my latest New Orleans trip. Nothing special...just the typical tourist stuff (first two with the 40mm pancake):

Nice shots. That pancake lens continues to impress.
I'm drinking Cafe Du Monde coffee right now. Wish I had a beignet to go with it.
Yeah, the pancake is a pretty fun little lens for a couple hundred bucks. A slight slide of the saturation bar and the colors just jump from that lens...just like with my L lenses. I go to New Orleans 3-4 times a year so I don't really photograph much there anymore. The pancake is perfect for just walking around the city.
I will say though, the pancake draws more attention than any other lens I've ever owned. When you are walking around with a white lens, I think people just assume you are a pro and don't talk to you. When you have the pancake on the camera, everybody with a dslr talks to you...especially when you have a 77mm polarizer attached to the lens via a step-up ring (I didn't see the point of buying new filters just for the pancake). It's pretty funny looking.
Did some shots for friends at the playground today

Great series I like the tree trunk portraits. And it wouldn't be a good time for Dad to sneeze while super baby is learning to fly.

Wonderful series of shots, Mark! The flying baby one has me holding my breath!! Did the little boy crawl up there holding the baby and then let her go!? Frightening but fantastic action shot!
