Nice photo, but it's a Gray Tree Frog, Hyla chrysoscelis (even though it's green).

Thanks for the correction...I was just describing it and did not know the true name.
Damselfly taken with 6D & OM Zuiko 50mm f/3.5.

Thanks Pat, they're interesting creatures.

Here is a psuedo-macro shot, since I only had my 24-105mm on hand when I took this. Heavily cropped.

Joel great Ant and Frog. Very nice light on both of them.
Dave, excellent grab on the Damsel Fly. Those are some of the most interesting bugs out there.
Dave, great grass spider. Those guys are very handy when it comes to mosquito control!
Here is a couple of new ones I captured recently. Both from the gardens this weekend.

Not much action here in a long time! I bought a used Tamron 90 VC recently and wanted to take some photos. I didn't expect much, but came across a few I liked.

LOL - I was chasing an emerald bee around a crepe myrtle with an extension tube and my 70-200 2.8.....My wife giggled and shook her head
Chasing a butterfly to catch it with the wings open with a similar rig on our sidewalk.... My wife laughed out loud enough for the neighbors to take notice.
Bee in flight shots are always hard. This is from the same morning as the other one.
I'm not a bee nut or anything, but I take advantage of what is there :)

I like bees... there is so much detail on them that you cannot see with the naked eye.
Pat
I know that :p

Nice, I especially like the butterfly.

What I like about macro is how versatile the subjects can be. I enjoy a nice scenic landscape type image, but there are not a lot of opportunities within a 1 1/2 hour drive. The ones there are I've gone to several times.
There's a great garden 20 minutes from my house that changes as the season progresses. I can go one week and the next week and get shots that are quite different. It's hard to do that with general subject photography.

Spot on!
