Thanks! I have done my fair share of newborn shoots, but each time I learn something new. When I look back at when I started doing them (2010) I am horrified by how bad I was! One big pitfall that many won't consider is how it will make your wife want more babies!!!!!
Indeed wonderful baby shots! What do you do/apply to make them a bit dreamy ? negative clarity? Or perhaps it's just the subject...
Jonathan, Ben, and Mark... some very nice work shown here.
Here is one from yesterday.

Hi all -
I've been away this past week, on a wildlife photography workshop in Jasper National Park. I was part of a small group of people being guided by John Marriott, Canada's premier wildlife photographer. I learned a huge amount, and came away with a few keepers too. Here's a sampling:
Monster-sized bull elk, in the middle of the woods (I was 20 metres away, trying desperately not to shake).

A gorgeous white ptarmigan. This one took a huge amount of work, as we had to wade through hip-deep snow to get close enough.

By the way I loved catching up with all the posts from the last week. Some amazing baby & bird shots! And Ben, welcome to Canada!
