my take on up close and personal
Great thoughts on the Skittles - Have seen the concept of the water drop focus on macro work often, but I like the unusual use on this subject matter -- For what it is worth, when my wife was told by her doctor to eat colorful food she replied "Skittles?" - he kicked her out of his office :)
This may not qualify for "up close" since it was with a 300mm+1.4TC...but it was at the MFD!:)
If it fits in the theme - use this for my submission, otherwise the first one with the puppy! Thanks.

Did I make the deadline? I didn't go out looking to shoot this, but after going through last weekend's shots, I thought I'd throw it into the pool. Just a single impromptu frame of Mama when she actually didn't turn away and, in about one second, kind of struck a pose.
