Chuck, your lenses are tack sharp!
very cool cat. A lot more regal looking than mine. The photos are great too neat lighting and tack sharp focus in both.
Thanks guys!
I enjoy both of these primes very much. I'm still watching for a killer deal ona EF 85 f1.8.
Great shots Chuck, really like the second one.

Dann Thombs,
Love the shots of your cats. I wish I could have a pretty kitty in my house. Unfortunately I am in college and my mom is allergic :(. Keep up the good work.
Here is my current pet... well it is my sisters stuffed animal, but I stole it for while. :P

We have Chocolate Labs now. Long story. I'll have to post a shot or two.

His name is Walnuts, because he has such fat cheeks and looks like he has walnuts in them. Well, sort of.

Sundance is 3 years old and 135 lbs so he's pretty physically imposing. But he's very sweet and loves people so we try to make him as accessible as possible. Here he is in his 2009 Halloween outfit -- a "lady" bug. We went to a local retail shopping area and he met a very sweet little girl who fell in love with him. Thought you'd enjoy these.

When you own good Rotties, you spend a lot of time making sure people understand that they really do exist. Sundance will be getting his TDI Therapy Dog Certification this coming year.
Jim
Bombsight, love the kitty. Great shot!
Fastglass, the bunny made me laugh the first time I saw it! Great pet.
Sean, you are a great stobist, but really a dog? Just kidding! I am just a huge fan of cats. :)

Jim,
Yes, I definitely relate. Our male, Wolf, was working towards his Schutzhund 1 when we moved and lost our contact with any clubs. He was the most nurturing, intelligent animal of any kind I've ever been in contact with, but if you saw him and didn't know him, you might involuntarily pee your pants, just a little. [:D] He lived to be 12 years old, and I cried like a little baby when we buried him.
Our first female, Greta, was a rescue from an abusive home. She looked just like your Sundance. Our breeder sold her as a pup and then found out what kind of home she was in, and forcibly took her back at 10-11 months old. She was such an expensive dog that we only could afford to co-own her with our breeder, but she eventually relinquished ownership for free after she saw how we took care of her.
Our second female, Daphne, was a daughter of the famous Nobbi vom Hegnenbacher Landl, Sch. III, IPO III, and WeltSeiger.

Also a bank-breaker, but we intended to breed her, so we made the investment. She ended up with an underbite as a youngster, and so we had her spayed at two years of age, only to have her bite correct at about 2 1/2. Ughhh!!! Long story short, before we got a replacement puppy, we had a child, and got out of the Rottie business because we were afraid how people would perceive them, and their ignorance would prevent them from letting their children play with our son.
So now we have Chocolate Labs. I am a an avid duck hunter, though, so it is also really enjoyable!
Sorry to hijack the thread.

We have a litter of Rottie pups on the ground -- they've just turned 8 weeks old -- and they were the stars of our 2010 Calendar. Thought you'd like to meet Ms Plummy who is now recovering from her New Years revelry[:)]. Enjoy!

Here a 3 of our cats - Coco and Mokey. The wife wanted to go with Coco and Chanel but I veto'd it as too chavvy! So instead named the second one after a Fraggle from Fraggle Rock!!
The first was taken with my Sigma 150mm macro lens f2.8, 1/125 and ISO400
The other two were taken with a Canon 85mm (prime)
Comments, suggestions and feedback welcome.
