FULL SPEED! shot with my 5D mark 1 (AI SERVO) and the 70-200mm f/2.8 IS in panning mode (IS 2) I might be in the market for a 7D when shooting this little guy!

Sorry for the noise but it was ISO 800. I just love the 10-22 3.5-5.6 so much that I can't help using it!

My little one. 5D2 shot almost in the dark on the first one, very slow shutter, f/2.8, high iso, and no IS.

I know this thread is a bit 'old', but here's my GoldenRetriever: Chase. He has a really sweet personality, and he loves his family.

Nothing real fancy, and it was surprisingly only taken with a Canon PowerShot S3 IS. Fall of 2009.

We've been trying to teach the dog how to catch a frisbee, she doesn't fully grasp the concept yet but I'm pretty happy with the way this shot turned out anyways [:D]

Hi all - I've really enjoyed this thread. Naturally as a veterinarian it captured my attention. Being new to this site I thought it would be a good place to introduce myself. Below is a link and image from my flickr photostream that I wanted to share.
Taken this morning through the window screen with my Canon 40D and EF 50mm f1.2L.

Thanks for saving my photo of my lil' Sammy as a fav on flickr! [:D] I'd have ALOT more dogs if my city ordinance would allow ...but I'm limited to just my three! [:(]
Looking forward to seeing more photos!

This is Mitzi who was blocked from a party that we were having on the back deck, we put an outdoor couch in front of the entrance!

This is Mitzi when she discovered that she couldn't join the Party! Don't fear, in about 1 minute after this photo she leaped over the entire couch and joined the Party!

C&C Welcome!

I like the first one the most, technically the picture of cat maybe better, but black cat makes me nervers[8o|]
My other dog Bindi the Whippet. She is my favourite, but don't tell the others.
Had to try very hard to position that stuffed toy between her legs. This shot really shows the difference between my snapshots and the well composedimages on the rest of this site. Better pick that camera up more often and stay away from the computer.
@Rich - great shots of Mitzi and Lexi - cute pets. Lexi looks just like my cat Panther.

Yes, they do look very much alike. Nice pictures of Panther on Flickr. I'll see if I have others with similar poses.
I see yours is a dust collector too! I roll my Lexi with the Lint Brush, it seems easier than rolling the entire house!
Rich
I've meaning to post more of my pet pictures but I've been distracted by other threads. Love this forum!
Here is a picture of my cat Ginger. Ginger is not usually a very cooperative subject but this was taken in my garage in near darkness so <span style="color: #ff0000;"]he felt safer I suppose. The light coming through a partially open door to the outside made for a good pet portrait. I shot this with a rented EF85mm f/1.2<span style="color: #ff0000;"]L (original). Great lens but very slow AF.

Paul, very nice portrait of GINGER, I can see why the 85L is on the wish list of many.

Thanks Bob! I am still considering getting the 85mm f/1.2L II, even though I have the 50mm f/1.2L -- It
Nice shot Paul, it really is paper-thin that DOF. On a crop body what do you prefer, the 50 or the 85?
