Great images Denise. Congrats Joel, well deserved.
Thanks Denise, Bob and Steve.....
I am hopeful it will bring in some significant dollars!
I have no specifics yet but they are looking at my Zenfolio site and making selections....so the negotiating phase is yet to come.
Even if the money isn't great it is still an honor to be thought of in the context of being prominently displayed in a new building. Almost feels like winning something.
Congratulation Joel. I am sure they will be happy with what you give them. Your shots are so clean, well composed, and well thought out.
As it should, tell us the truth: You'd give em the pics if they asked:DQuote:

More birds are starting showing up at the park, but will have to make some trips without the dog to get so better ones.

Nice goose shot! If one of my dogs would have been with, it would have been long gone! They have a knack for instilling fear in wildlife!

Here is a Robin I got a couple days ago...

Nice Robin Joel,
You, Denise and the others are making me feel bad:(. I have been so "obsessed" with preparing for Hummers and dealing with "kids that have returned to the nest" That I haven't shot anything for a over a month. I am going through withdrawls----but Saturday is just around the corner---.
I do have to share that I just rec'd another Pocket Wizard TTL5 that my wonderful wife bought me for my birthday; so, I f I can't take good pictures, I'll at least be able to blind my subjects.
Bob
Wow! Man you are really loaded now with wireless flash gear....it's gonna be fun....tell Norma she is probably being too nice to you :)
(PS How is her supply of Honey holding out? I have to keep her happy so I might get permission for another Bosque trip someday:))
No killdeer in flight, but rather on ground.

Those are nice Jayson. I like the first one best, the eye is really cool on these birds. I am going to have to try to find some of these for my collection!
Thanks Joel. This is the first one I had seen in over a year. It was right beside my kids preschool, so hopefully they weren't wondering what a guy with a white lens was doing in their parking lot. :)

These are from early this morning, I am experimenting with Nik Color Efex Pro by using a bi-color filter on the backgrounds, what do you all think? Is it too much?

I like the backgrounds alot, Joel! I too have been playing with Color Efex Pro the last few days. Subtle is definitely the key on some of the presets and you have done a very nice job of applying them!
Thanks Bob ans Denise.
Bob....I will try to flush all birds towards the west if possible:p
Denise, you are right, one of the cool things about Color Efex Pro is that it automatically creates a layer and you can adjust the opacity so the effect is more subtle. The bi-color filter has opacity adjustments as well so you can dial it in as desired.
PS Bob....my alma mater (University of Louisville) is up against New Mexico today so ask Norma to root for U of L for me:rolleyes:!
I seem to be having good luck finding owls lately. Heres a Barred owl and her chick.
