You should be pleased, it's very nice.

Haha I'm sorry to laugh, but that's why I don't like butterflies...they are like the people on wallstreet during the day, they don't sit still for 1 second [:P] I have to get out more at early mornings and evenings instead of during the day I guess...

Re: Post Your Best Nature Shots!
I had the good fortune to experience a thunderstorm while on the Outer Banks last week, and was able to catch this shot. I actually was able to take a number of shots but blew it on a couple of fronts (not quite in focus being the biggest problem) but learned a lot should I have another opportunity.
This one was shot with a Canon 7d, 24-105.
Setting were 67mm, 20sec, f4 (should have used narrower, longer exposure).

Re: Post Your Best Nature Shots!
My first nature post. It's was still raining that day and had a little wind issue, so I did the best I could. Fumbled through LR trying to remove the HUGE amount of green to show off the tree and path, then went to PS and cloned out leaf that stuck to the tree. Didn't know LR had a removal tool until too late. Anyway, hope you like it.

A few from this weekend's outing in the mountains of Northern New Mexico. Cloudy overcast day, rain and heavy shade in most areas. The Waterfall was very challenging because I had to get me, the camera and the tripod down some steep, wet, muddy terrain to get to it while trying to protect the camera from the rain.
