Re: Post Your Best Nature Shots!
Thanks for the tips Bob!
I increased the fill light a bit and tightened the crop all while trying to preserve the color of the sky and lighting on the leaves. Unfortunately It isn't the sharpest shot so more of a crop really starts to display the dull details.

Re: Post Your Best Nature Shots!
OJ - Nice improvement on the cardinal shot!
Joel - That is one heck of a shot! I must admit I did alittle tilting of the head to the left & then to the right trying to figure out what it was before reading your description!
I thought of submitting this shot for the assignment but I already change my mind once on there so I'll just post it here ...

Re: Post Your Best Nature Shots!
I spent Saturday on a waterfall hike in part of the White Mountains that is in Maine. I have only processed about a quarter of the shots, but I liked this waterfall.
Both with the 7D and the 15-85.

Re: Post Your Best Nature Shots!
Pretty green Denise and I'm falling for your waterfalls Brant.
Another shot from Mt Tambourine. That orange blob below the wind sock is a para glider.

Re: Post Your Best Nature Shots!
Jan and Steve....I appreciate your comments. Thanks. BTW, Steve, nicelandscape, especially the clouds. Nice effect.
I've finished going through my pictures from the hike and below are a few more. Please feel free to provide C&C, specifically, I am wondering about exposure and if people think these are underexposed.
Thanks,
Brant

Re: Post Your Best Nature Shots!
Nice work again Brant, I like the second one the best, the light is softer and the composition draws your eye into the image to explore it.
