What did you shoot? May 24th through May 30...

I thought I would start this one a day or two early as I wouldn't be around the computer for the most part this weekend. The last couple weeks there have been some pretty outstanding photos posted. Keep it up.


I finally was able to catch one of the three that have appeared in our area. This was heavily cropped as I couldn't really get out of the car to shoot. [:(]Here's my contribution this week...

I can't guess the movie titles, except the obvious one (Casablanca).


I love the poses, and the lighting on all of them looks great to me. You've got quite a photogenic subject there, Mr Brent! [;)]

I didn't cook it, but I can tell you it was darn tasty. It was a shoot I did for a local chef that is publishing a recipe book. I actually have 2 more days of shooting.

Thanks Jon! I think one of the titles you didn't guess is fairly obvious still. EVERYBODY knows and has seen the movie (at least I hope so). The other is a bit harder, I'll admit.

I shot a football game to test out a new Sigma 300mm f/2.8. Autofocus was poor but probably due to my use of the 5D II. I'd like to try it on a 1d iv or a 7d sometime.

Handheld. I don't shoot enough video to invest in a rig just yet. :-)


EDIT: Actually, on second thought, I may have put the camera on my monopod and was holding the monopod with some weight supported on my leg. I know I shot both ways, but I think I was using the monopod for that particular sequence.
