Great review Bryan!!! I can see why it is deserving of the lovely red ring![:D]
<tongue in cheek> I'm highly disappointed in this review, Bryan. Although it's very detailed and highlights all of the important characteristics and features of the 70-200mm mug, one of the most beneficial features of your reviews is that you offer comparisons to other relevant products in the lineup. In this case, I see no mention of the previously-released Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L USM Coffee Cup, no capacity comparisons, ISO 4898 thermal insulation testing, nothing that will help me make an informed choice from the growing BDS lineup. </tongue in cheek>
Great review! I didn't really want one until I read this review. I may wait to get Roger's Take though.
The tripod ring bit killed me. the best part. And, a really good idea, actually.

Great review, Bryan. And if I am ever looking for the world's most stable cup holder... [:)]
Hahaha
Blinding review *orders*
Yeah, great review, but you didn't compare it to the Nikon!

Awesome review Bryan. I'm reading this review at work live on set right now and just about burst into laughter with the news being reported!
When can we expect the 24-105mm review? I'm quite interested in the IS function [;)]
Very nice... Loved seeing it mounted to the tripod. Ha Wimberley plate... Ha.
I had to stifle mylaughter at work. Absolutely hilarious... Great stuff Bryan.

Another great review. I will wait for the version with a larger aperture so as to be more effective under low light conditions and will have to do my own testing to determine if the infra-red focus indicator in fact is adequate enough to prevent possible temperature (e.g.)distortion.....
"The same great optics as the Canon Extension tubes." Yeah!!! LOL!
Great Review. Gotta have one!
Great review!! I have a new purpose for my savings this year [:P] I still can't believe the image quality...very impressive!
Just a hint:http://www.canonmugs.com/
Bryan,
Loved it !!
My favourite line: "The same great optics as the Canon Extension tubes."

Awesome review, Bryan!! Too funny!! And we thought white lenses got us attention before ...wait until we're seen drinkin' out of this baby! [:O]
Denise
Highly entertaining Bryan.
I wonder if this is just a big ploy by Canon to force everyone into buying lenses with IS. By drinking all this coffee you'll surely be as shakey as a leaf and need an image stabilised lens to actually get a decent shot. Damn marketing gurus - they've done it again!!! [:D][:D][:D]
i can't wait till the f/2.8 version of this lens comes out... it will hold twice the liquid. [:D]

Bryan, a great review!
I am missing a through-the-focal-length coffee taste and temperature comparison. I guess they vary. :)
Somebody's a little late to the party, it seems...:-)

Bryan, pretty good review, but I was disappointed... you didn't include MTF charts nor measurements for steam falloff. And if I load a mocha in there, does the lens mug suffer from sugar diffraction at f14 and smaller? And you didn't even mention flare... although that probably won't be an issue for me, I always use a Reddi-whip diffusion foam on the filter. However you did a great job covering the lens mug's mounting options. Anybody know if the Manfrotto 322 Grip Head can handle the weight on the lens mug when it's fully loaded?
