thanks for viewing.
Shot through a chain link fence, thus the diamond bokeh. Point was to utilize the golfer without revealing identity. f/4 1/800th ISO 200

Keyword RadioPopper - After the ST-E2 master unit wakes up it can drop the HSS mode. Try locking High Speed Sync in by sliding to the Hold position. This shot was setup for 1/6400th with two 580exII's in close proximity, but as it turned out the HSS was lost and this was exposed @ 1/200th! (f/8 ISO 200) I must have caught the transition between wing flaps as you can see there is very little blur for such a relatively long exposure.

Garrett, since when did you have all that gear??? I thought you were shooting a rebel?
The Navy SEALS Leapfrogs Jump Team. Allen Stone Run Swim Run and 5K. I have some shots from another race on Tuesday, but they're on my other system.

A rude awakening..... They were about 15 stories up.

I'm trying to capture HB's wing patterns as they hover and still keep the head/eye sharp.

This pic (f Ruby-throated) was taken at f5.6, ISO 1250, 1/160 (slowest so far)w/natural back lighting. Unfortunately I only have this type of light for a few minutes in late afternoonand the HBs don't always show upwhen and where I want them. I still want to go slower w/the shutter speed.
Jayson....I enjoy your zoo pix, keep 'em coming. Like the seal puckering up for you.
Sean....is thatthe strobist 101 book? Once again, nice portraits and lighting.
Shea....nice capture of the HB. I always manage to wash outthe eye(s) w/a flash. What type of plant is it at?
Thanks for sharing....great pix everybody.
I was trying to catch the movement of the interpreter's hands. Had a devil of a time balancing the black abyss and her white blouse. On the final I cropped out the light and cloned out the power cables. Kind of fun to do for a strobist wannabe.

Hey Bill W, my hummer was visiting a banana flower, complete with immature naners here in San Diego. BTW - I got full flaps @ 1/200th, so you must be recording several cycles. Kewl concept, looking pretty sharp.. -Shea
How about a Little Surfing Action!

I stilll like using my XT though. Its just that littleteeny tiny LCD screen on the back that sucks. Other than that the camera takes some pretty decent pics.
