I found this wonderfully helpful video while strolling the Flickr strobist discussion threads. I simply had to share. You might want to have a notepad and pencil handy.

Wow, turn the dial to 'P'? I never tried that. And color coordinated accessories?
And all this time I thought I was a pro. I can just leave my brain at home. Its so easy.
Its funny how often at weddings I hear so many people tell me that anyone can be a pro now with a digital camera.
Mark
Wow. can not wait for the rest of the series. Well maybe i can.
I thought we'd have some appreciative people here. And you don't have to wait for more--I think she's made 5 in the series already. :-)
I've been going about it all wrong this whole time!
This has to be a spoof, right? Please tell me it is.
Finally a "Pro" that's not afraid to "get real". I found this very inspirational, this game is a lot easier than I thought.
Someone should press her P button, LOL.
I agree, I'm hoping it was a joke as well.
OMG! I should have been warned not to watch this before at least having my first cup of coffee of the morning! I am going back to bed!
I wonder what she thinks DSLR stands for ...hmmm, after watching this, "D" is for ditzy comes to mind!
I just watched all five of her videos. The most amusing is “Accessorize”. I didn’t know how important it is for your camera bag to match your camera strap and clothes, until now.
Video #5 marketing is actually informative and seriously a person could get some tips. Think what you will about her photographic skills, but she can market herself. I think what you are buying from a session with her is personality with pictures.
I like this quote “..how your clients know how great you are, is by you telling them”
I want to be a “Rock Star” to.
You are my hero Sean! Thanks for the video!
I'm trying to learn my girlfriend how to use her DSLR for over half a year now, but I didn't realize I did it all wrong. Now I can tell her that she doesn't have to be an apprentice anymore, but that she can become professional very easily just by followwing Missy's videos. That's the best news I had in a while. Thanks a million times!:)
I learned two valuable lessons from the first video and the one on posing your subjects.
Shot your subjects in P mode, and line them up against a wall.
I think with that, the client will know exactly what he has bought.
Wow!! I had no idea it would be that easy to become a professional. I have decided to go Pro tomorrow. I would start today, but I need to charge my batteries first... I assume I still need batteries to get the camera to work in "P" mode (a.k.a., professional mode).
I finally made it through all 5 videos!! Please stop me now ...I am one step away from putting together a spoof on this spoof!!
Ok fess up guys, how many of you are now her bff on facebook!?
Ohh I need some Facebook buddies, does she need a friend?
P stands for professional, didn't you know?
This is gunna cost me isn't it?
That was pretty painful to watch.
You really hope that this is just a joke and no one really believes what she is saying.
but on the other hand.... people still sport the mullet.
Maybe I'm stupid, but I couldn't follow lesson 1. I was intrigued when she said "just take that little dial at the top of the camera and turn it to the letter P". I was keen to put this into practice so I grabbed my 1D Mark IV but couldn't find any dial with a "P". Does this mean my camera isn't a Professional model?

Andy...are you sure it is a DSLR...it has to be a DSLR to be professional.
Missy MWAC has promised to release here 6th installment tomorrow.
She also says on Face Book that she has already had 100,000 you tube hits.
I would say she has turned in to a very successful Pro Photographer.
Andy, I'd send your camera back to Canon. That must have been from a bad batch.
I read all the comments before watching the video, and I thought that the "P for Professional" was just one quote from the lesson, but it was actually the whole point of the entire lesson.
Missy is such a much better name for a pro photographer, sounds a lot more professional than, say, Art, Ansell, Andreas, Edward, Alfred. Good thing my first name starts with an R.
Tip #1: To be a professional photographer, your first name must start with a middle-alphabet consonant, not an alphabetically-early vowel.
But what about Star Filters? Every Pro uses star filters. Maybe that's coming in a future lesson.
Andy, I think your camera's broken. Try this one:

Iit's got a 'P', so it must be better than that crap you've got at the moment. Look at it, yours doesn't even have a flash! What kind of cheapo did you buy that doesn't come with a flash, or a dial with a 'P'?
I tried. I mean I REALLY tried. But after her explanation about that "blurry" thing, I had to punch out.
I may have to get some duct tape and re-enact that famous Clockwork Orange scene 😳 to make it thru the next three segments.
I must be getting really desperate for a laugh these days because after awhile and after getting past the wanting to give her a few knuckles across the net ...I started to find her annoyance funny!
#6 is out. Not quit good as the others.

Very, very disappointing! I did not laugh once during episode 6 ...what a letdown! Puppy knuckles across the net!?
She shot to fame and now she is already a has-been! I guess that is what happens when you try to take a shortcut! Tsk-tsk!!
Such is the life of a true ROCK STAR !
I must be an idiot...but, is she for real?? It can't be, it just can't be....if she's serious, then she's a dear sweet fool, but if she's joking then she's and Oscar-worthy character actor! Haven't made up my mind yet.
And the only Lens you need is a Pinhole-Lens! Everything is sharp. And if you are going to buy another Lens, it must be a Zoom-Lens with AF.
I think she is the author of Rasputin.de (German)...
