I'll start with a landscape, not a new one, but it will get the ball rolling.

'Seasons Changing'
Tonight's sunset on Mount Rundle over Vermilion Lakes, Banff. The dusting of snow on the mountain came yesterday... which means it's time to put winter tires on the car!

'Momentary Pause'
After several attempts on hikes I finally got a shot of a very elusive little rodent, called a Pika. These cute little critters are like hamsters on steroids. They can be found at the treeline, living among rock piles. They sprint between the rocks and rarely stand still for even a second. You need the patience of Job to get one (and more than a little dexterity to scramble over the rocks with a big lens).

Here's a portrait for you. I'll call it "To Bee or Not To Bee?"
Clue: It's not a bee.

This one is closed now. I am still waiting to hear from Steph. We'll give him a little bit longer.

I'm going to step in here and after long consideration award the best portrait to,
David Eccleston love the light and colour, just an eye catching image.
And give the landscape image to Pierre/Tounis who lives in a beautiful part of the world and captures those images nicely.
Really liked the bird, the barn and the bee shot as well and really strong from Jonathan again. Thanks everyone.
-
Thanks Steve. Congrats Tounis, you've got a ton of awesome landscape shots.
-
Congrats guys. Well earned.
-
Very well chosen, Steve. I really liked the backlighting on David's shot --- that is so hard to execute, and he did it perfectly. And Pierre's photo makes great use of a foreground element to add dimension and beauty to the scene. Congrats guys!

Steve, you're too kind.
As I said on the flickr page of this picture, I wasn't very happy with the pictures I got from this place. I made many mistakes while taking them, mainly because my feet were sinking in the little swamp where those flowers had grown, and because I'm not used to taking pictures in a hurry. When I came back home, I thought I wouldn't be able to do anything with it, but in the end I could at least save this one.
It gives me a reason to go back there and do better. I was alone in this valley (and some chamois and marmots) for several hours, in an almost complete silence, and it was great.
Thanks all for your very kind comments, and for the great pictures you keep posting on this forum.
