2014 - Image of the Week #43

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images to compete for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly and finally on an annual polls for the title of "TDP Image of the Year."

• There will be only one weekly winner.
• This entry period for Week 43 will be from Monday October 20th through/including Sunday October 26th.
• Please supply a title for your image.
• This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro and any other appropriate photographic style.
• Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
• Enter as many times as you would like.

Jayson: really like your "Baseball Fan"! Great idea and excellent execution! Makes me wish I'd have thought of that when my son was that age. Maybe the next one...

Great images Jayson!

Thanks Stephen and Sam! His dad is a huge baseball fan so we had to do something like this. He also had this old glove from what had to be the 50s. It was really awesome, but baby didn't like it as much as the ball.

Waterscaping
Used a Lee Big Stopper for this one. Even at mid-day I was able to get the shutter speed up to 2' 45" at f/11.

ill pick the winers later tonight. got to work late and only have a cheap laptop here at work that makes everything look bad.

I have been staring at these pictures for over 45 minutes and my eyeballs are ready to fall out ! You guys didnt give me an easy week to judge.
i took me quite a while to come down to 1 that just stands out to me. Conropl with "life giving water" is this weeks winner . the images this week were all terrific and i hope i didnt let anyone down , i feel bad picking just 1. thank you for letting me judge this weeks photos , i really enjoyed staring at them for a good part of the evening.

Thank you Stuart. I do not envy you this week... there were some real outstanding pictures to chose from. This weeks pick could have easily gone in so many different directions and styles.
