I just finished taking an Intro to Digital Photography class at the local community college. This is a portrait that I did for an assignment.. This is my favorite of the session.

Even though I have the big lights now, I still remember that the REALLY big lights still shouldn't be neglected. Large window behind me, camera right. Bounced flash off of the wall camera left.

Great shot Rocco! The best light is free, we just need to figure out how to use it to our advantage -- which I think you found! Cheers!

I really like how you lit this Rocco. It draws my attention to the banjo more than the musician though (which is both fine and/or your intent :)). Did you use any different setups? Einsteins are hard to beat. Talk about bang for your buck!
