2019 - Image of the Week #24

Welcome to TDP forum's "Image of the Week" competition. Each week photographers may submit their images for the title of "Image of the Week." Weekly winners will then compete on a monthly, quarterly, and, finally, in our annual poll for the title of "TDP Image of the Year."

• The Week 24 entry period will be from June 10th through/including Sunday, June 16th.
• Please supply a title for your image.
• This is an open competition for landscape, portrait, architectural, macro, or any other appropriate photographic style.
• Images should have been either recently taken or processed.
• Enter as many times as you would like.

This image is from october 7th 2018 show here in sw finland. Realised, that i had only made a timelapse from this evening but not much stills. So here is one now re-edited for your viewing pleasure. I will add link to the short timelapse also where this image is part of.

Great entries this week! I'm giving the nod to Jayson for "Call to the Wild". I always admire great bird photos and I appreciate how hard it is to combine a great pose, nice backdrop, tack sharp focus, glint in the eye, and even a bit of action like in this shot. Very honorable mentions: Brant's "Blue Grotto" shot is very cool and all the cell phones make for a fun story. And Dave's "Big Foot" shot made me chuckle -- nice catch!

Thank you Jonathan! Great entries this week and nothing funnier than a nice dark location lit by cell phone light. I think the one closest to camera is actually playing a game.
