Assignment 6: Vanishing Point -- Congratulations mattsartin
Here is Assignment 6, courtesy of Dave Johnston. We want pictures that show a vanishing point. To use Dave Johnston's description "I am sure you've seen the shots of a subway going of into oblivion, or a
really long strait road." He and Sheiky will be judging this time around for the finalists and then as usual we will vote on their selections.
The voting is closed, and it looks like mattsartin! I am looking forward to the next assignment, and will post it in a few days. If anyone would be willing to help with the judging of the next assignment I am looking for a judge still!
Thanks
btaylor

Re: Assignment 6: Vanishing Point
I will be judging as well so my entry doesn't count. I still want to kick off just to make this tread more open for uploads. Good luck everybody!

Great subject! Looking forwards to the enteries.
Re: Assignment 6: Vanishing Point
Fantastic subject!
Here's my entry. Taken at a friends' wedding in Western Australia. The reception was held at a winery and the scenes were just magic.
Hope you like.
Cheers, Ben.

Re: Assignment 6: Vanishing Point
Was that a tilt-shift lens or did you do that in post?

Unfortunately it wasn't a tilt shift lens for this one. The blur was done in post.
I've used the TS-E 90mm f/2.8 before and it was superb - I really enjoyed using it. That photo was actually taken handheld with the good old 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM. It's done some hard yards, but I'm ready to upgrade it. In fact I haven't used it since getting my 70-200mm f/4 IS.

Here is mine: taken in southern Ada County, just north of the Snake River in Idaho.
