Windows Explorer fix

I've finally fixed something that's been bugging me forever --- the incredibly slow loading time of CR3 files on Windows Explorer. I Googled the problem and came up with a thread on the DPR forum where one person recommended using an alternate program called Directory Opus. And then another person posted a solution where all you need to do is right-click on the folder, choose Customize, then select Optimize this folder for Documents and check the box for subfolders. That did it! Now the pictures load right away. Anybody else had this problem? I can't believe I waited so long to fix it.

Thank you for the tip. I assumed I was the only one that had this issue, and assumed it was me doing something wrong. I will attempt the fix in the near future.
