Canon 30D with three lenses.. urgent question!
Hi!
I´m beginner in the world of photography, not like im only know about point & shoot cameras, but there´s a long way to go to have the experience of a real photographer.
So, here´s the point someone is selling me a Canon 30D with three lenses <span class="UIStory_Message"](18-55/28-105/70-300); and extras some gear but without memory card, the price she´s offering me its for about $846 DLLS
So my question is if its worth it, to buy it? I really want to get deep into this (photography), but if i´m going to spend that kind of money i don´t know if it´s a god offer, so i wanna ask you folks that you tell me what to do!
I really apreciatte it, thanks for you help!

Consider that those are some OLD lenses (All but the 70-300 are discontinued) and none of them are "L" lenses. So I am unsure of how good they hold up over the years.
New 60d was recently on sale for 899 with out a lens of course, and there has also been a deal for the Rebel XS with 18-55 IS and 55-250 IS for 507 shipped to your door. That was at amazon a few days ago.
Keep in mind that a newer camera and lenses that are NEW and comparable to the ones you have listed are available and not considerably more expensive.
Personally, I wouldn

First, welcome to the forum! If you are inside the USA finding a decent used canon 30d should be easy especially on ebay. i personally would recommend the 40d and the awesome 100mm macro usm non is, they make a fantastic combination! the canon ef 135mm L is also an awesome choice if money allows? not very helpful, but its my idea, that and the usual nifty fifty ef 50mm 1.8,or the 100mm usm the 85mm 1.8 are all great choices especially for the crop camera.

No, I don't think so. Buying used is a great idea, but I think in that case, the lenses are not very well matched to the body. Here is what I'd recommend:
- $225: Used Canon 20D or 30D
- $100: Used 18-55 IS
- $200: Used 55-250 IS
That's much cheaper at $525, but you'll get a lot better images. You'll have money left over for more lenses, a flash, or a better camera body.

30D is an older model by todays standard. I would wonder how much use it got and why they are selling it. I would be wondering about the the Shutter Curtain Count.
