Ummm...wow. If that is where I think (to the right of the raptors blind), not only was that a ways out, but horribly lighting. Great job in pullout out the detail on the Harris and not blowing out the sky.

Love that close up of the male Pyrrhuloxia!
These are part of Cardinal family.
BTW: Pyrrhuloxia is a combination of the genus names Pyrrhula (bullfinches) and Loxia (crossbills)
It's roots come from Greek pyrrhos which means flame colored and loxia which means crooked....referring to the beak.
After the trip I just had to look it up!
This bird (Crested Caracara) ascending to the perch has been feeding .... you can see the yellow crop poking out from its feathers!

Tight crop of the amazing plumage on the wild turkeys that came in during the golden light of late afternoon....again the R5 allows a ton of flexibility with cropping and retention of detail in the image.

Cardinal with reflection is superb!!! I did not get any with such a clean reflection.
Painted Bunting in flight is awesome as well....very very nice.
