With having been away for awhile I have been going through the different forum posts and noticed that some of the categories the most recent post is showing as being fairly old. For example the "Image Critique" category the most recent post says it is from December 2017. Is that correct?

The very old time stamps are not correct. The forum was moved to a new format several years back.

True....like not all of us joined in Dec 2008 :)
But, I do believe the Image Critique from 2017 is correct. That is just not a thread that is used very often.
The weekly assignments pretty much killed off 95% of other threads.
I've wondered about that. For me, it is only partially true. The other side of it is I started becoming more discerning about what I put up on Flickr. When I started with Flickr, the entire purpose was so that I could post higher res images here and not be affected by the image file size limits set up in the "new" forum back in 2011 or 2012. As my participation in Flickr evolved, I started only posting what I considered my best shots. Of course, those "best" shots fit into the weekly assignments, but not 4-5 photos for "Best Current" or one of the other threads. I still do occasionally post in the other threads, but far less frequently.Quote:
