Thanks for viewing
Great series Mark....I really like the last one. That should be on a wall someplace.
I agree with this.
Here are two I got last night, my first attempt trying to capture lightning. I was quite shocked at the results.
Okay... I'll stop :p

Scotland is a great place to be when the sun shines. Pity it doesn't happen more often.

Thanks for looking.
One from yesterday with my 6D and the 24mm f/2.8 IS. I like this little lens.

Hello everyone i'm new to the site and to camera's, I got my first camera a couple of months ago and have at least taken 2000 pic's, and I was looking for a good place to show them off and found this site, I hope you guy's like what I got, this is my best landscape shot.

Sunrise in the Field...
Welcome to the forum.
What are you shooting with? What are the particulars of the shot you posted (shot settings?, filters?, why is this your best?).
I like the low perspective, and the reduced sun intensity shinning through the background vegetation. That is a tough shot to get color in the clouds and the foreground at the same time. I am guessing that you did not have a Graduated Neutrsal Density (GND) filter on at the time, but the GND may have helped get you more color in the sky.
Keep posting... I would like to see more of your landscapes.
Pat
Some sunrise shots from yesterday. Not a lot of content in these shots... just some really nice colors with some simple silhouettes.
There are a couple more in the "Image of the Week... Week #7"
All hand held for a kayak.
7D with 24-105 f/4L IS. Shot settings are available at the shot link to flickr.
