Banman1, your picture looks pretty small on my computer screen, check the settings before you post you pictures.
JJphoto, very nice Bluebird images, great work....the only thing I might consider is a horizontal crop on the second one.
Here are some birds I saw at a local pond recently....there were about a dozen of them....I have never seen this species in Kentucky before....I believe them to be Egyptian Geese, does anyone know about these birds?

JJ, Great shots of the Blue Birds---I love the "look" of the whole image as well. How did you process these?
Great shots of the Blue Birds JJ. I love the how the distant buttery back ground makes the birds just pop out of the frame.
Well done.
Tom
I think the duck I posted the other day is my best bird picture ever, but this one I like a lot too. I see a lot of really great photos in this thread, this one maybe isn't as nice, but it's my "second best".

I think this is a great photo, Paul! Very sharp & good color contrast! In my neck of the woods, male cardinals are very skittish. At least the one that hung out in my backyard was...move a hair and he
I'm bored! Here are some BIF that I shot a couple of Months ago, while shooting Surfing, I just couldn't resist aiming the camera up at the sky.

C&C Welcome!

Hey Doc,
Welcome to the forums!
I like this Red Cardinal better than the Peking Duck. I think it's a rarer find, and cooler colors too!
